Social & Travel
Our social activities include regular events such as Barbeques, skittles, social evenings and the popular Christmas meal.
Days out over the past few years have included visits to London shows, famous gardens such as
Kew and Wisley plus trips to concerts at Soudly Castle and Westonbirt Arboretum.
Food has not been neglected with visits to Ludlow Food festival and Weston's Cider.

Walking holidays are regularly organised with recent long weekends at St David's in Pembroke, Capel-y-Ffin in Powys, Church Stretton, Okehampton and the Llyn Peninsula.
Seven days of optional walking and sightseeing in the Lake District in 2010 and in Norfolk in 2009 have also been successful.
Long distance paths such as the South West Coastal Path, The Cotswold Way and Tarka Trail have also been walked by parties of Group members.
Guided walking abroad has not been neglected, with Andalucia, Tuscany, Croatia, Switzerland and Mallorca all featuring in recent years.
All social events and holidays, including those involving walking are paid for by those taking part. Gloucester Group has aseparate self financing Social Club and account, to organise such activities.
